This is a beautiful vintage buckle made in Hollywood, California that dates back almost 100 years. This buckle set was likely given as an award at a Rodeo in April, 1936 as inscribed on the back. In regards to its age, this buckle is in amazing condition with period correct patina and engraving that is still legible on both sides.
The front of the buckle is inscribed: "Won By Lorella Macbeth First Prize Saues Rodeo Best Silver Equipment, Presented By Edward Bohlin"
This buckle comes on a hand-carved Bohlin 1.5" wide belt that measures 33" from end to center hole.
